The Australian Government through the Australian Surveying and Land Information Group (AUSLIG) and the army's Royal Australian Survey Corps (RASvy) provided map coverage of Australia. There are no restrictions on the availability of the general series mapping to the general public (unlike many countries in the world).
AUSLIG now distribute their products under the name Geoscience Australia and NATMAP.

include a range of printed maps across a range of topographic, general reference

The Map Shop nearly always has in stock the full range of the 1:250,000 series of Australia and most of the 1:100,000 series covering south east Australia and the popular coastal maps for the rest of Australia. This represents about 1,500 of the available titles. These maps may be supplied folded or flat. See the link above (Topographic and Thematic Maps)for current prices.
To check for coverage of your area of interest please email with either an indication of your area of interest in latitude and longitude or by naming the places and the intended use so that we select the appropriate scale for that use. A response giving map availability prices will be returned.
